TechFlow reports, in an interview with u.today, Pavel Bains, founder and CEO of decentralized storage network Bluzelle, said that crypto gaming will become a distinct sector, just like mobile games and free-to-play social games. Crypto games require faster speeds when moving onto blockchains, as Ethereum's transaction fees are high and processing is slow. Bluzelle, as an ultra-fast L1, can solve this problem.
He noted that not all games are suitable for crypto gaming—sports simulations, for example, may be less effective—while role-playing, action-adventure, and card strategy games are highly suited to crypto gamers.
Regarding gamers and streamers, he believes gamers seek exciting and novel experiences, while streamers focus more on audience building and monetization. He predicts some streamers may shift toward crypto gaming, while traditional gamers might experiment with crypto games.
On his crypto asset strategy, he stated he holds Bitcoin and Ethereum long-term and is fond of DeFi projects like Frax Finance due to their supply mechanisms and teams.
