TechFlow reported, citing Decrypt, that blockchain development platform Alchemy has hired Guillaume Poncin, former Head of Web3 at Stripe, as its new Engineering Lead. Poncin will oversee engineering and technical management for Alchemy's existing and new products, as well as expand its service offerings.
Notably, Guillaume Poncin launched Stripe's fiat-to-crypto on-ramp and stablecoin-based cross-border payment products during his tenure. Prior to joining Stripe, he spent 12 years at Google, serving as Tech Lead for Google Books and Google Cloud, and previously led engineering and product efforts at an educational gaming startup.
