TechFlow News: Binance recently collaborated with the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office to host a seminar on combating cybercrime in the virtual asset sector.
Held on August 24, the event brought together over 70 prosecutors and assistant prosecutors both in person and online, including Yu Li-chen, Chief Prosecutor of the New Taipei District Prosecutors Office. Members of Binance's leading compliance team presented on trends in virtual asset-related crimes, fundamentals of blockchain and digital asset investigations, and case studies of Binance's cooperation with global law enforcement agencies in combating financial crime.
Notably, Binance launched its Global Law Enforcement Training Program in 2022, the industry's first global initiative designed to support law enforcement agencies in tackling financial and cybercrimes related to virtual assets. In the first half of this year alone, Binance has conducted over 60 online and offline training sessions worldwide. As interest in virtual assets continues to grow, so does the demand for specialized training. Binance remains committed to playing a key role in safeguarding users and promoting the secure development of the industry.
