TechFlow reported, citing The Block and informed sources, that USDC will launch on six new blockchains — Polygon PoS, Base, Polkadot, NEAR, Optimism, and Cosmos — via the Noble network.
Earlier, ChainCatcher reported that Coinbase announced on social media it has taken an equity stake in Circle to further its strategic alignment and continued investment in stablecoins, particularly USDC. Specific details of the equity acquisition have not been disclosed, and USDC is also planning to roll out on the six new blockchains.
