TechFlow reported on August 21 that the crypto startup Glow Token fell victim to a scam impersonating Crypto.com, resulting in a loss of $250,000 and 1 bitcoin.
Glow Token has now filed a lawsuit against Crypto.com in a Florida state court, accusing the exchange of breaching contract terms and demanding over $250,000 in damages. While acknowledging that Crypto.com may not have been directly involved in the fraud, Glow Token claims the exchange enabled the scam due to inadequate security protocols.
