TechFlow news — On August 21, it was reported that NFT brand experience platform Recur announced it would begin phasing out its platform functions starting August 18, and will completely shut down by November 16, 2023. All NFT metadata on the platform will be migrated to IPFS.
In March 2021, Recur announced a $5 million seed round led by DeFi Alliance, with participation from IOSG Ventures, Courtside VC, Gemini, JST Capital, Delphi Digital, Volt Capital, Nascent, CMT Digital, Hashed, as well as individuals including Gary Vaynerchuk, Joseph Lubin (founder of ConsenSys), and Scott Belsky (founder of Behance). In September 2021, Recur raised $50 million in a Series A round at a $333 million valuation, led by metaverse investment platform Digital.
