TechFlow reports that Bandai Namco Research, the research division of gaming giant Bandai Namco, has collaborated with Japanese startup Atstructure to develop the AI virtual pet NFT game RYUZO, which is published by Double Jump.Tokyo. The game launched on Wednesday on the gaming blockchain Oasys.
OASYX is a Genesis NFT project built on the Oasys gaming blockchain, and RYUZO is the OASYX Series 2 project. The OASYX App is now live. The first generation of 10,000 digital NFT eggs (or MARYU) has already been airdropped to holders of OASYX Series 1 NFTs. After hatching, the digital creature RYU will become a soulbound token.
Players can also create further generations of MARYU within the app. The app's breeding functionality is scheduled to end around the end of July 2024, but RYU will continue to exist after that.
