TechFlow reports that following the attack on several projects due to vulnerabilities in certain Curve stablecoin pools, Yu Xian, founder of SlowMist, commented that a bug at the smart contract language level caused reentrancy locks defenses in several well-known projects to fail. White-hat and black-hat hackers, along with MEV bots, went into frenzy, exploiting various reentrancy manipulations and frontrunning to drain funds. Fortunately, this time it was not Solidity but the less popular Vyper that had the issue.
