TechFlow reports that, according to documents submitted to Judge Sean H. Lane of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York, FTX and Genesis have reached a preliminary agreement resolving disputes related to their Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases. The parties have jointly requested the court to issue an order approving this resolution. The agreement aims to resolve claims asserted by FTX debtors against the debtors in the Genesis Chapter 11 proceedings, as well as claims asserted by Genesis debtors against FTX debtors in the FTX Chapter 11 proceedings, subject to documentation. To allow both sides time to finalize definitive settlement documents, the parties have requested the court to pause the filing of any documents related to "motions to lift the automatic stay" and "motions to estimate claims."
