TechFlow news, on July 25, an official announcement stated that the TronLink Chrome extension wallet will soon be upgraded to the latest version V4.1.1. After this upgrade, the TronLink Chrome extension wallet will add support for EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) networks—specifically Ethereum, BSC, and BTTC—offering users more diverse options. Thanks to this update, the application scope of the TronLink Chrome extension wallet will further expand, enabling compatibility with more complex DApp scenarios, meeting diversified asset management needs, and continuously promoting the development of the TRON and BTTC ecosystems.
According to the announcement, users can access the wallet-switching interface via the icon in the top-left corner of the TronLink Chrome extension wallet to manage assets across different networks. Meanwhile, the new version will upgrade its wallet structure to a single HD wallet, allowing users to manage assets on the TRON, Ethereum, BSC, and BTTC networks using just one set of mnemonic phrases.
It is reported that BTTC's decentralized cross-chain bridge BT.io will be the first to integrate and support EVM-chain-related features of the TronLink extension wallet, with more EVM-chain DApps expected to follow suit in supporting the TronLink extension wallet.
