TechFlow reports that Twitter user @Gojo0x disclosed that HeySkylark, a software engineer on the Azuki team, has sold an Azuki NFT he held.
According to screenshots shared by @Gojo0x, yesterday a wallet labeled larks-vault sold Azuki #52 for 7.5 ETH. Azuki #52 was transferred five months ago from a wallet marked TeamAzuki to a wallet under HeySkylark's name. Azuki #8419 was transferred earlier in February from the larks-vault address to the 69EFAA address. Reports indicate that HeySkylark announced his joining of Chiru Labs, Azuki's parent company, as a software engineer earlier this year in February.
In response, @Gojo0x expressed dissatisfaction, claiming that while regular holders are still holding long-term, the team is selling off NFTs. However, Twitter user @drCathieSo_eth pointed out that just hours earlier, HeySkylark had purchased a rare-trait Elemental. These NFTs may have been part of his compensation package, and after the vesting period ended, he is free to retain or sell them. Furthermore, there is nothing wrong with HeySkylark purchasing NFTs from other projects.
