TechFlow reports that StarkWare has today released the roadmap for its Cairo programming language. In the upcoming Cairo V2 release, the team plans to introduce new contract syntax alongside Starknet alpha v0.12.0.
StarkWare stated that Cairo is already sufficiently stable and feature-rich to support complex applications and enable migration of existing Cairo 0 logic. Furthermore, Starknet guarantees backward compatibility, ensuring users will have at least six months to complete development, auditing, and deployment of their contracts even when significant language changes occur.
