TechFlow news: The U.S. unadjusted CPI year-on-year rate for May was 4%, declining for the 11th consecutive time and reaching the lowest level since March 2021, compared to an expected 4.10% and a previous value of 4.90%.
The U.S. core CPI year-on-year rate for May was 5.3%, matching expectations of 5.3% and down from the prior 5.50%. The seasonally adjusted CPI month-on-month rate for May was 0.1%, below the expected 0.20% and the previous 0.40%.
