TechFlow news: On May 31, Shane Fontaine, co-founder of cross-chain bridge protocol Hop Protocol, proposed distributing HOP token airdrops to witch hunters, and Hop DAO is currently voting on this proposal, which has received 99.46% support. The vote will end on June 1.
According to the proposal, 869,566.51 HOP tokens will be distributed to 35 witch hunter addresses. These addresses helped the project team remove sybil attackers from the Hop airdrop during the initial launch of Hop DAO last year, allowing Hop DAO to retain nearly 3.5 million HOP tokens that would otherwise have gone to sybil attackers. The planned airdrop represents 25% of these retained tokens.
