TechFlow reported on May 27 that during the Zhongguancun Forum, the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park jointly released the "Beijing Internet 3.0 Innovation and Development White Paper (2023)." The document states that Internet 3.0 represents the integration of modern scientific technologies and is an inevitable trend in the future development of the internet industry.
Changpeng Zhao (CZ), founder of Binance, shared this news on Twitter, noting that the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission has released a white paper on Web 3.0, while Hong Kong is also looking forward to June 1. He found it particularly interesting that these two major events occurred in close succession.
Sun Yuchen, founder of TRON and member of Huobi Global Advisory Council, retweeted CZ's post and commented, "Especially considering the upcoming implementation of Hong Kong’s new cryptocurrency regulations on June 1, China’s commitment to embracing Web 3.0 technology reflects a significant step forward in recognizing the transformative potential of decentralized systems and blockchain-based solutions."
