TechFlow news, according to The Block, a core development team of MakerDAO has proposed raising the DAI savings rate to 3.33%. The proposal still requires a formal voting process before it can be approved.
The DAI savings rate, known as DSR, can be frequently adjusted to respond to short-term changes in Dai market conditions. In February, MakerDAO stated that increasing the DSR to 1% last year drove over 35 million DAI to be deposited within a month. Meanwhile, the current yield on 3-month U.S. Treasury bills is approximately 5.29%.
