TechFlow news: Sun Yuchen stated on Twitter that Li Lin's brother, Li Wei, obtained a large number of zero-cost HT tokens through improper means and has repeatedly sold off and withdrawn substantial amounts from the Huobi platform. This behavior not only damages the reputation Li Lin has built domestically over many years but also harms the interests of every member in the HT community. Therefore, according to the resolution of the Huobi Global Advisory Committee and the HT DAO community, HT tokens acquired by Li Wei will be recovered and burned, with specific details to be publicly disclosed within the HT community. They will absolutely not tolerate such conduct.
It is understood that during HT’s initial issuance, Li Lin’s brother Li Wei received millions of HT tokens for free. Li Wei has continuously been selling these HT tokens for profit. Currently, the HT DAO committee is intervening to rectify this issue and plans to negotiate a refund with Li Wei and arrange for the destruction of his remaining HT holdings. Such actions are not only just but also align with the greatest interests of the HT DAO community.
It should be noted that Li Wei has not made any substantive contributions to the HT DAO community. Hence, it is crucial to ensure fairness and reward those who have genuinely contributed to the growth and development of HT DAO.
