TechFlow news, according to data from Coingecko, the market capitalization of Bitget's exchange token BGB has reached $566 million, making it the sixth-largest major exchange token.
It is reported that Bitget recently updated the BGB whitepaper, launching multi-address deposit and address book features, announced a new service allowing users to stake BGB to waive withdrawal fees, and is also considering adding a BGB buyback and burn mechanism in the future.
According to TokenInsight's Q1 2023 Exchange Quarterly Report, BGB was the best-performing exchange token in the first quarter of 2023, with a gain of 120%, becoming the only exchange token to outperform both Bitcoin and Ethereum during the quarter.
