TechFlow reports, according to an official blog post, Bluesky—a decentralized social project funded by Twitter—has released a short-term authentication solution called App Password, allowing users to try new clients without fully trusting them with their main password. In the long term, Bluesky plans to implement SSO (single sign-on) with scoped permissions.
Bluesky stated that its core development team is currently focused on finalizing the AT Protocol. As mentioned in the March update, priorities over the coming months include domain names as usernames and account transferability, composable moderation and reputation systems, algorithm selection, and customizable feeds.
