TechFlow reports that Namada, a Layer1 blockchain focused on multi-chain privacy, has proposed an airdrop of its upcoming token NAM to holders of Zcash (ZEC). ZEC holders who claim their NAM anonymously will receive a larger airdrop allocation compared to those who claim transparently.
Both Namada and Zcash utilize zero-knowledge proof technology, which enables transaction validation without revealing the sender, receiver, or transaction amount.
The Anoma Foundation, the entity behind Namada, stated that the project is scheduled to launch its mainnet in May 2023, after which the exact timing and mechanism for the airdrop will be finalized. The foundation also oversees the independent privacy protocol Anoma.
