TechFlow News — OP3N, a Web3 AI-powered platform, has raised $28 million in its Series A funding round at a $100 million valuation. The round was led by Animoca Brands, with participation from Dragonfly Capital, SuperScrypt, Creative Artists Agency and Connect Ventures by New Enterprise Associates, Republic Crypto, Avalanche’s Blizzard Fund, Galaxy Digital, and Warner Music Interactive. Other investors include GSR Markets, The Spartan Group, BRV Capital Management, and NBA player Russell Westbrook. The new capital will be used to further develop its application and expand its leadership team.
OP3N’s chat-based Superapp aims to bridge the gap between Web 2.0 and Web3 by integrating blockchain and decentralized technologies into a Web 2.0-friendly interface. The app will enable users to add audio, video, and mixed media content to on-chain interactions, delivering an “all-in-one” experience.
OP3N previously completed a $10 million seed round in December 2021, with investors including Goodwater Capital, Soma Capital, 500 Global, WhaleShark, Justin Kan, co-founder of Twitch, and Sébastien Borget, co-founder and COO of The Sandbox. Source link
