TechFlow news — On March 14, New York time, MantaPay, a privacy payment protocol based on zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs, officially launched on Calamari, the canary network of Manta Network. It will be deployed on the Manta Network mainnet upon mainnet launch.
MantaPay is a decentralized, multi-asset privacy payment protocol built on ZK technology. Users can bridge various asset types such as ERC20 tokens into MantaPay to enable private transactions. In the future, it will support private transfers of NFT assets including ERC721 and ERC1155, as well as SBTs. Leveraging ZK technology, MantaPay ensures transaction data is 100% untraceable while also providing a Viewing Key that allows users to voluntarily disclose transaction details when needed.
Manta Network is a programmable privacy Layer1 blockchain based on ZK technology. Backed by investors including Binance Labs, Polychain, ParaFi, CoinFund, Hypersphere, CMS, and LongHash, it enables developers to build native zkDApps and empowers users with private interactions.
