On February 16, according to an announcement by OKX, the exchange officially released its 2023 institutional custody service roadmap. OKX stated that its current focus is on providing institutional clients with more transparent fund custody services, while balancing capital efficiency, cost, and security. It is currently collaborating with clients and professional institutions to expand custody solutions in order to better meet institutional clients' needs.
According to available information, OKX's institutional custody service roadmap primarily includes five solutions: exchange-based custody solutions, affiliated regulated custody and wallet solutions, partnerships with regulated custodians, over-the-counter settlement solutions, and self-custody solutions, allowing users to choose the most suitable option based on their needs.
Among these, the affiliated regulated custody and wallet solution, as well as the partnership program with regulated custodians, are expected to launch by the end of the first quarter of this year.Original link
