TechFlow News, January 4 — BitKeep Web3 multi-chain wallet announced that a case has been officially filed regarding the hacker attack at the end of December. A special task force has been established jointly by local police and cybersecurity experts. BitKeep stated it will fully cooperate with the task force and actively advance efforts to recover the stolen funds. Previous reports indicated that the BitKeep APK version 7.2.9 installation package was hijacked and replaced, causing some users to install a compromised application containing malicious code, leading to private key leaks. BitKeep has partnered with multiple security agencies to trace and identify the issues, and has already frozen部分 amounts held by the hacker.
