TechFlow news, according to The Block, U.S. Attorney Damian Williams for the Southern District of New York announced that Caroline Ellison, former CEO of Alameda Research, and Gary Wang, co-founder of FTX, have pleaded guilty to criminal charges. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has also filed civil lawsuits against both, accusing them of defrauding investors.
Williams added that both Caroline Ellison and Gary Wang are cooperating with prosecutors, and he expects further charges against others. However, he urged anyone else connected to the collapsed cryptocurrency firm to come forward before being charged, warning: "Our patience is not unlimited. We're continuing to work around the clock, but we're far from finished."
Williams also stated that Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF), former CEO of FTX, is now in custody of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).Original link
