TechFlow news — Icelandic metaverse audio experience startup Treble Technologies has announced a €5.5 million (approximately $5.7 million) seed funding round, led by Nordic venture capital firm Frumtak Ventures, with participation from Nova, the venture arm of Fortune 500 company Saint-Gobain, and a group of angel investors.
In addition, the company has received a €2.5 million (approximately $2.6 million) grant from the European Innovation Council (EIC).
Treble Technologies has developed a subscription-based software platform that enables game developers to create realistic sound in metaverse virtual environments. The platform can integrate with 3D modeling software, design systems, and game engines, embedding audio design directly into the development workflow.
