TechFlow news — FTX US General Counsel Ryne Miller said in an internal memo that he is working with outside advisors to preserve whatever can be saved on the platform. He also stated that people should prepare to make appropriate decisions based on their individual circumstances in the next steps. It appears that FTX US may at least have the ability to pay salaries through the next cycle.
According to a person familiar with the matter, Miller's message was sent to employees via a Slack channel on Wednesday evening and was later deleted by a member of the founding team. The general counsel said he has not received much clear information from the founders and has informed U.S. regulators that he instructed the founders to shut down functionalities on both the U.S. and global platforms.
