TechFlow News — ConsenSys has announced the launch of the MetaMask Grants DAO, committing $2.4 million annually to further advance the Web3 ecosystem. Funding will be overseen by MetaMask employees who manage the DAO. The DAO will distribute grants to developers working outside ConsenSys who are building products and services within the MetaMask ecosystem and the broader Web3 space.
The initiative will initially run for 12 months to evaluate its feasibility and success, with voting and proposals handled publicly via Snapshot on the Codefi Activate platform.
