TechFlow News – Stablecoin issuer Circle is launching a new cross-chain transfer protocol to support USDC interoperability. The permissionless protocol will enable USDC to be sent across blockchains, improving liquidity and reducing fragmentation of bridged assets. Developers building wallets, cross-chain bridges, payment apps, and financial tools will be able to offer seamless cross-chain USDC transactions. Additionally, the protocol is composable, allowing developers to combine various functionalities such as transactions, payments, NFTs, and gaming.
The protocol is set to launch on the Ethereum and Avalanche mainnets later this year, with early integrations from LayerZero Labs, Wormhole, BitGo, and Avalanche.Original link
