TechFlow, Aptos has released details on participation in its Incentivized Testnet 3 (AIT3), which processed over 800 million transactions and achieved more than 4,000 TPS within less than two weeks.
Regarding testnet rewards, Aptos has increased the reward pool by 50%, raising the maximum token reward from 800 to 1,200. Rewards will be assessed in stages: participants meeting ≥50% of staking requirements will receive 800 tokens, while those meeting ≥9% of staking rewards or having zero governance voting will receive 500 tokens.
Additionally, Aptos stated that the recently launched testnet NFT series APTOS: ZERO marks the beginning of its Longevity testnet, reflecting confidence in the state of its software and deployment architecture. Unlike previous weekly resets, Longevity testnet NFTs will be preserved for an extended period.
Aptos plans to make no further major changes to Move, transactions, or APIs, and there will be no more data clearing, enabling effective partnerships between DApps and other entities. However, Aptos will continue rolling out updates to devnet on a weekly basis and will continue weekly resets. Source
