TechFlow reports that FTX has released a statement regarding the special dividend for AMC preferred equity units. According to the official announcement, FTX will treat this special dividend as a cash dividend and mark the price based on APE's closing price on its first listing day (August 22, 2022). This cash dividend will be distributed to users within seven days after APE's listing.
The settlement price for AMC-0930 will be calculated using the one-hour TWAP of the AMC/USD spot index on FTX one hour prior to expiration, plus the closing price of APE on its first listing day (August 22, 2022). The AMC futures index on FTX will be updated to reflect this adjustment.Original link
