TechFlow, the European Central Bank has raised its three key interest rates by 50 basis points, exceeding market expectations of a 25 basis point hike, marking the first rate increase in 11 years. The new rates will take effect from July 27, 2022. In line with its strong commitment to price stability, the ECB has taken a further key step to ensure inflation returns to its 2% target over the medium term.
