TechFlow News — Interoperability protocol Connext announced today that, given recent market conditions and volatility, it has decided to temporarily postpone the distribution plan for its token NEXT. The team now aims to launch the token by early autumn at the latest, and will release detailed tokenomics as soon as conditions stabilize and a more optimized distribution structure for supporters and the community is developed.
Previously, in late April, Connext announced it would issue the NEXT token within the next 1-2 months and transition into a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
During this delay, Connext core contributors will focus on the major network upgrade called Amarok, which will enable developers to build trust-minimized cross-chain applications.
