TechFlow news — European venture capital firm XAnge has announced the launch of a new €220 million fund, double the size of its previous fund. The new fund will focus on early-stage startups in digital technology, deep tech, and impact-driven sectors.
According to the announcement, XAnge plans to make 10 investments this year through the new fund, with average ticket sizes ranging from €300,000 to €10 million. Areas of particular interest currently include digital health, DeFi, Web3, developer tools, bio-sourcing, and bio-manufacturing.
XAnge has already completed 15 investments via its funds. Recently, it participated in the Series B round of HR platform WorkMotion and led the seed round of Pina Earth, a startup digitizing certification for forest carbon projects.
The firm’s portfolio includes six unicorns: rapid grocery delivery startup Flink, open banking platform Deposit Solutions, and cryptocurrency hardware wallet provider Ledger.
In addition, the VC is launching a Web3-dedicated fund called Digital Ownership Fund, targeting €80 million in fundraising.
