TechFlow news — Dialect, the smart messaging protocol, has announced a collaboration with the Solana Mobile team to build core messaging infrastructure and developer tools for the Solana Mobile Stack (SMS), and will launch Dial, a consumer-grade open-source messaging application. Dialect currently powers messaging for over 15 DApps on Solana. The Dial app enables users to send direct and group messages directly from their wallets, with its smart messaging standard signing transactions without relying on any Web2 identities. Over the coming months, Dialect will progressively open-source mobile development tools, finalize the release of the Dial app, and contribute to core SMS tooling.
As previously reported, Solana Labs is set to launch the Web3 smartphone Saga. Additionally, the Solana Foundation has committed $10 million to incentivize developers building applications using its Solana Mobile Stack (SMS).
