TechFlow information — Optimism announced today that the OP governance token airdrop is now officially claimable. In its Discord, Optimism stated that some users had already claimed OP tokens by directly interacting with the smart contract prior to the official opening of the airdrop claims. Due to high network load causing delays on the Optimism mainnet and remote procedure call (RPC) services, Optimism has temporarily restricted archive node functionality until the load subsides.
