TechFlow news — According to CoinDesk, Ignite, the development company behind Cosmos, will split into two entities: Ignite and NewTendermint. Jae Kwon, co-founder of Ignite, will serve as CEO of NewTendermint, while Peng Zhong, current CEO of Ignite, will continue leading the restructured Ignite.
Ignite and NewTendermint stated that the two companies will operate independently. Ignite will continue focusing on developing its flagship products, the Emeris portfolio manager and the Ignite CLI developer toolkit. NewTendermint will concentrate on core blockchain infrastructure development, including Tendermint Core, the Cosmos SDK, and the smart contract platform Gno.land.
