TechFlow news, Chris Whinfrey.eth, developer of cross-chain bridge protocol Hop Protocol, tweeted that since the release of the bounty program targeting Sybil attack addresses, a total of 32 reports have been accepted, returning 900,588.35 HOP tokens to the community. Bounty hunters will receive 300,196.12 HOP tokens, with more rewards still pending. Among them, the top rewarded user, @gzeon, identified 471 addresses on Arbitrum using a 12-line script and is eligible for an 81,216.10 HOP reward.
Previously in April, when announcing its token launch and airdrop, the protocol stated it would reward hunters who report Sybil attack addresses with 25% of the affected tokens, subject to a one-year lock-up period. Attackers could also self-report to claim 25% of the tokens, but risk receiving nothing if someone else reports them first. Each report must be easily verifiable and eliminate at least 20 related addresses.
