TechFlow news, according to The Block, sources revealed that SO-COL, a crypto startup co-founded by well-known figure Irene Zhao, is raising funds at a $100 million valuation. Blockchain Capital is leading the round, though the exact size has not been finalized and talks with investors are ongoing. The project aims to "amplify" Web3 creators and influencers through NFTs.
Irene Zhao is an Instagram model and entrepreneur who earlier this year launched a series called IreneDAO, demonstrating how NFTs can be used to monetize social media.
Earlier in February, SO-COL completed a $1.75 million seed round co-led by Animoca Brands and DeFiance Capital.
