TechFlow news — Meta (formerly Facebook) has announced the establishment of Asia's first "Metaverse XR Hub" in Taiwan, launching a series of initiatives utilizing AR and VR technologies, with multiple application technologies showcased on site. Chris Cox, Meta’s Global Head of Products, stated: "Meta firmly believes the metaverse is at the core of future social technology. In the future, we will connect and communicate through immersive 3D experiences. Taiwan leads the region in developing related hardware, building public infrastructure, and driving adoption, while also boasting a wealth of outstanding developers. That's why we've chosen this location as a key hub for Meta’s metaverse team."
