TechFlow news, Polkadot Name Service (PNS) will launch at 18:00 on April 26, Beijing time. The PNS registration fee is $20 with a $5 annual renewal fee. Users who mint within two weeks of launch will receive a 50% discount. PNS supports payments via MetaMask wallet and GLMR tokens. New registrants will receive a PNS Pioneer NFT. The team stated that launching a token is not currently in the plans, but early bird rewards will be introduced in the future.
PNS is currently deployed on Moonbeam and will migrate to the Pallet version when conditions are ready. Moonbeam is currently Polkadot's most mature Ethereum-compatible chain and has secured parachain slots on both Kusama and Polkadot.
