TechFlow news — According to official announcements, Web3 information distribution protocol RSS3 has launched a test plan for its node staking module. Since this staking test does not include reward sharing for node operators, RSS3 will allocate 20 million RSS3 tokens as rewards for a 12-month staking period.
Specific rewards will be determined by staking duration and the amount of tokens staked. Both rewards and staked tokens will be released within 60 days after the end of the user's chosen staking period. During the pre-staking testing phase, staked tokens will have double the voting power compared to regular tokens. When decentralized RSS3 nodes go live (expected within eight months), stakes will be transferred to the nodes, and users who participated in the pre-staking test will receive additional weight. The team also announced that 30% of the community's token allocation—representing 47% of total supply—will be reserved for future node and staking rewards.
This staking program will run concurrently with the development and launch of RSS3 nodes. Specific participation details and launch timing will be announced soon.
