TechFlow news — On April 6, gaming giant Ubisoft announced it has completely ceased development of the game Ghost Recon Breakpoint, and will no longer provide content updates, NFTs, or any other additional content.
Ubisoft launched the beta version of its Ubisoft Quartz platform at the end of 2021, allowing players to obtain in-game items as NFTs, initially implemented in the PC version of Ghost Recon Breakpoint, a tactical shooter online game under its Tom Clancy video game franchise. However, the game received poor reception, ultimately becoming the company's NFT test case.
