TechFlow news — Rapper Snoop Dogg has released a new music video in the blockchain-based game "The Sandbox." In the video, he also announced a virtual concert in the metaverse later this year and confirmed an upcoming Twitter Spaces session with Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson. According to a press release from Animoca Brands, The Sandbox's parent company, "House I Built" from Snoop Dogg's latest album b.o.d.r is the "first music video produced in The Sandbox metaverse." In the video, Snoop Dogg appears as a pixelated 3D avatar reminiscent of Minecraft. The video was created using the platform’s free content creation tools, VoxEdit and Game Maker.
