TechFlow news — According to Mary Rich, Goldman Sachs' newly appointed global digital assets head within its Private Wealth Management division, the firm plans to offer its clients their first bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrency investment tools starting in the second quarter of 2022.
In an interview with CNBC on March 31, Mary Rich said, "Goldman Sachs' ultimate goal is to provide comprehensive support for digital assets, whether through direct exposure to bitcoin, derivatives, or traditional investment vehicles."
The unit primarily serves individuals, families, and endowments with at least $25 million available for investment.
