TechFlow news, Russian Deputy Energy Minister Evgeny Grabchak said that Russia needs to eliminate the legal vacuum in the cryptocurrency mining sector as soon as possible. He stated, "The current legal vacuum makes regulation and establishing clear rules extremely difficult. This gap must be closed promptly. If we want cryptocurrency mining to take place in any form, we must introduce legal oversight and incorporate the concept of mining into the regulatory framework."
Evgeny Grabchak also noted that determining mining locations and providing energy to miners would be more effective at the regional level rather than at the federal level.
