TechFlow news, according to Xinhua News Agency, Shaanxi Xixian New Area Public Transport Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xixian Bus") has partnered with Bank of Communications to launch a digital RMB bus payment channel, becoming the first public transport company in the northwest region to achieve digital RMB ride payment functionality, with 100% coverage for both regular and customized bus services.
Passengers can download the "Digital RMB" app, create an account, upgrade and top up their digital wallet, then download the "Xixian Bus" app and follow instructions to add digital RMB password-free payment under the "Scan-to-Ride" section to use the service normally.
