TechFlow news — a16z general partner Ali Yahya announced on social media that a16z is investing in the decentralized autonomous organization PleasrDAO, with the specific amount not yet disclosed. Ali Yahya stated that DAOs like PleasrDAO are foundational to Web3. They represent a new, internet-native form of economic organization that enables people to collaborate at scale and accomplish shared goals.
Previously, it was reported that the decentralized autonomous organization PleasrDAO purchased the animated video NFT of Uniswap V3 for 310 ETH (approximately $505,000) on March 27. Later, on June 11, it successfully acquired the original Doge photo NFT on the auction platform Zora for 1,696.9 ETH (worth about $4 million).
