TechFlow News, November 19 — At an auction held by world-renowned auction house Sotheby's, ConstitutionDAO failed to secure the first printed copy of the United States Constitution. Officials stated, "While this isn't the outcome we hoped for, we still made history tonight." The fundraising effort drew 17,437 donors, with an average contribution of $206.26.
The 1787 document holds significant historical value as one of the original 500 printed copies of the final draft distributed to delegates during the Constitutional Convention, with only 13 known surviving copies.
