The first batch of 5,000 OpenPunks will be officially released through auctions and mystery boxes. The first phase of OpenPunks sales will run from October 11 to October 20. Based on the rarity of each OpenPunk, 200 mystery boxes will be unlocked daily at 9:00 AM for auction; another 150 mystery boxes will be released daily at 2:00 PM, totaling 1,500.
OpenPunks is the world's first community-driven Punks avatar collection, dedicated to building a more open hub for Punks creators. Each OpenPunks is randomly generated from various base attributes, with a total issuance of 10,000—no further minting will ever occur. NFT avatars created by users via OpenPunks can be iteratively updated. One year after launch, the official team will repurchase them at their initial transaction price, providing risk-free value preservation.
